Our 2012 Frisch Columbia Valley, Washington Riesling has a pale color in the robe. The nose is refreshing and complex. Pear and green apple take over in the attack. We also have some bright floral characters throughout the finish. The mouth gives us a sweet sensation. Indeed, this wine was kept on lees for almost a year, which resulted in an amazing and generous mouthfeel. These “Sur Lies” flavors fill up the glass with citrus, lychee, honey and ripe lime. The palate is soft and juicy with a smooth finish. This wine is ready to enjoy now and for the next 3 years.
