Our 2012 Milano Cellars Muscat Canelli is very consistent and true to the varietal’s aromatic profile. Fresh rose white flowers are dominating the nose also known as Terpenes (TUR-peen). These are large organic compounds, produced by a variety of plants in particular the Syrah and Muscat both belonging to the Vitis Vinifera family. Next, we get dry papaya and mango. The wine offers clean lines in the mouth with a mineral attack, followed by flavors of apricot and pear. The acidity does not show very strongly. The finish is sweet, round and elegant. This 2012 vintage, fresh and lively will be enjoyed chilled for the next two to three years.
